It was late (early) and I couldn't sleep so I put on some music from my laptop and guess what came up right off the bat? Yea, Desolation Angels. What the fuck ever happened with you guys? Shit hit the fan or something? The site I had a link to hasn't been updated in some time so... y'know...
Really I've listened to the music on my laptop a lot and it's always been the same stuff so I think it's just my annoying awake mind that decided to make a connection worth typing out a thread about. _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."

Our bassist got shipped back to Colombia and our lead singer got pregnant.
That and promoting the album got to be a bit too much, cause it was like, before we recorded the album we had to practice those 13 songs up really well. Then we spent a month recording them. But because of various things to do with how the industry works, it wasn't actually released until 9 months later, with two singles being 5-6 months apart. The upshot of all this is that we had to keep playing and practicing those same songs for over three years. So having burnt out doing that, losing two bassists in a row was a bit more than we could handle.
I still think they're all good songs though. And we're all on good enough terms that doing something else in the future isn't totally out of the picture. |

That reminds me, actually, I only just now got round to ripping another track.
This is one of the last things we ever recorded, it was for our record company's compilation album. Mastered at Abbey Road, no less.
I think it's one of the best, so it's a shame it never really got a proper release.
I think the CD might be slightly scratched, the rip I did of it has got a few skips. Anyhow, here it is. |

Yea.... damn those women and their maternal tendencies.
Anyway, thanks for the info and the track. Definitely worth listening to. _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."

iTunes? Hah! You actually expect me to pay money for music?!
I mean, I'll buy an album if i really like a band, but geez :p _________________ "Sleep well, sweet child... the lord holds thee now." |

Uh, iTunes' sole purpose isn't to buy music... tho I'm sure they'd like everyone to do so. I haven't bought a flipping single track since I've had it.
In any case, winamp played it just fine for me. _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."
