One thing I have noticed is that certain classes at certain levels just seem to get "stuck" on a regular basis (I seem to remember my thief was humming along nicely and then started getting ganked at around level 70, for example). It becomes increasingly hard to find a mob that a) gives you good exp and b) won't make you wear your ass as a hat.
I never really saw Avatar as the "end game"; I saw it as more of a beginning; it's when you can actually start "working" on your char, as opposed to relying on having max stats when you reach 0 tnl and getting lucky on your hp/mana rolls. I'm not sure how many people feel this way, but off the top of my head I can think of several who would likely agree with me. |

I concur. Leveling for your main character is just a prelim to av-hood, when runs, qping and building takes place. The only time I ever found being non-av the game was for pkill.
I have an idea...
How about we just, say, get rid of that little only one non-av deadly rule?
I know I'd have more fun with Vicks and such if we could just pour out the deadlies and get maybe 4 and 5 person epics going on with level 30s _________________ "Sleep well, sweet child... the lord holds thee now." |
