I have heard a rumour that the spell Holy Sanctity doesn't really reduce damage, but i have no sure way of testing this since I cant tell (except by math which i like to stay away from) how much damage i receive per hit. So my question is could someone tell me either a way to test it or could someone tell me if it works or not.

It does, it's just that it doesn't stack with regular sanc. It lasts longer though.
With that in mind, it does seem like the mana cost is way off the scale - I've fixed it now so that it costs broadly the same as sanc.
