currently i only know of two ways to overcharge my mana i was wondering has anyone else found any?
ways i know of
1. simply trance to full then write a note, if your hold item gave you mana then when its removed your mana will stay
2. personally i don't like this way but its helpful sometimes. I noticed that when i die i get to keep all of my mana so for example once we were doing a run on something and i died with 1700 mana so my prompt said something like 1700/400 mana so i guess if i didn't really mind dying thats one way i can really overcharge my mana then just wear eq that affects everything else
so are there any other ways? also would this be considered expoilting a bug? cause i would like to state now that i do not use these methods to overcharge becase the first way only gives me 50 mana and the second way involves dying |

The first one I'd say is technically cheating, but since it's so limited in scope it's going fairly low on my list of things to fix.
The second one I'm not bothered about, if you want to kill yourselves for the sake of a bit of mana then feel free. |

I was just wondering if overcharging had been fixed. _________________ -Wedge |

What do you mean by fixed? _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."

Fixed as in, you can't do it anymore. I always thought it was lame in a way. _________________ -Wedge |

Yup, "fixed". :]
To make up for it I added a bunch of 3-digit +mana items to the game sometime last year. I might add more. Maybe. |

Yeah, but what good is 2,000 mana when you only have like 600 hp and are a mage? Without something like a mana shield, a mage is still better off stacking hp over mana. _________________ -Wedge |

Mages are better off killing themselves before someone else does it for them.
Seriously, though ... mages don't actually try and fight things without tanks, do they? _________________ "Kill 'em all and let Vicks sort 'em out."

I know as a cleric I don't try especially if the 3 digit+ mana items are like level 40 or something and I am killing stuff in titans. They don't tend to last very long in fights. |
