Even though Neq is a member of SoN. I always wonder how is it that the Pope is the leader of a clan of vampires? I don't know maybe its just me who found that odd. |

*pokes out from under his rock for a bit*
SoN.. Some of you have already heard me ranting and raving about this on the mud already. So, instead of ranting here, I'm going to put forward some questions or something I suppose.
Who besides Neq and myself (Messiah, Priest, Devian, Rhuan, Dominus, Onyx, Revenant) and of course, the present, but unplaying, Erilyn are active? By active, I mean participating in any kind of roleplaying, questing, or storyline? Hell, even playing for a couple hours a week?
I guess it's a mud wide problem, but what I'm looking for is suggestions on how to get people in the clan active and playing, not to mention, boosting the clans roster. Priest's attempted "take over" has gone nowhere, the storyline and all is in place, but has been stale and inactive at least a month, probably two or more now. (my own answer to the problem was the resigning of leadership to the remaining and active players)
Meh.. To be simple about it. I'm frustrated. I've been playing the mud for damn near a decade, and Nightmare was my first clan, I met and made all my friends there, and lived and breathed the clan moto. I can't stand seeing it in it's current state and want to do something to correct it. Also, before anyone goes and questions my abilities to accomplish such.. I'll make the point of reminding everyone what I accomplished with Contradox and the clan Forsaken.
Alright, whatever, I'm done.

For the sake of not being an asshole, I will not rant about my opinion concerning what was "done" to Forsaken. _________________ "Eye level for a kender is door-lock height for the same reason a chipmunk has extra cheek space."

Anything that has or hasn't been "done" to any given clan is irrelevant at this point anyway; *all* the clans are inactive. Hell, there hasn't even been a clan PK in months (I wonder what the date of the last PKill in general was ... I would guess maybe March or April? ). Lately I've been as guilty as anybody, I suppose. But, yeah. More people should play. When they do maybe I'll start actually *playing* again, as opposed to the idle shifts that I tend to take. |

Ya got a point Vicks, muds been really quiet lately.. I've fallen prey to it myself, but continue to try in a half-assed attempt anyways, but yes.. I'll log on, linger 20 minutes to a half hour, then log back off as I usually find the times no one else is on.
As to the comment about Forsaken, I know plenty didn't agree with the path I took it down, and that's fine and cool. I just know I took a dead, completely inactive clan, and got it thriving. Course, Forsaken has changed yet once again since it was in my hands |
